Visibility Meter Principle
The visibility meter is designed using the internationally recognized forward scattering principle. It has the characteristics of integrated transmitter and receiver, no baseline requirements, simple installation, low geographical location requirements, no impact from vibration, and simple maintenance. The transmitter of the visibility meter emits a beam of infrared light with a central wavelength of 0.87 μm into the atmosphere through an infrared light-emitting diode. The corresponding receiver converges the forward scattered light of a certain volume of atmosphere onto the receiving surface of the silicon photoelectric sensor and converts it It is an electrical signal. This signal is processed and sent to the data acquisition device of the controller. After sampling and calculation by the CPU, the visibility value is obtained, and then communicates with the user's computer through RS-232.
