1. Traffic Weather Monitoring Station and Early Warning System Overview

ASHUR traffic weather monitoring stations and early warning systems mainly use comprehensive acquisition control technology, computer software technology, communication technology and other technologies to integrate a variety of weather sensors from structure to system composition. It can continuously obtain meteorological and road condition information along the traffic line, and can conduct real-time detection of multiple meteorological environment factors of the highway such as visibility, current weather phenomena, wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, road condition, road temperature, wet slip coefficient, etc., The transmission completes the summary of various data and transmits it to the transportation department in a timely manner, providing first-hand information for the transportation-related departments to provide traffic weather support services along the route. Based on this, the information board or information prompt screen on the roadside can provide information for the expressway and provide timely weather information tips to safety authorities and people traveling.

The system includes: ASHUR-VD930A present weather and visibility sensor, ASHUR-MWS600 small ultrasonic automatic weather station, ASHUR-RD3000 laser remote road surface state sensor, information intelligence board or information prompt screen, etc. It also includes: dedicated comprehensive meteorological data collector, column support structure, power supply communication control box and other units.

It can measure visibility, atmospheric temperature, atmospheric humidity, wind direction, wind speed, air pressure, rainfall, remote sensing road conditions (dry, wet, frost, water, snow, ice, mixed ice/water, etc.) and current weather conditions

Meteorological elements such as fog (light fog, fog, thick fog), rain (light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain), snow (light snow, moderate snow, heavy snow), mixed precipitation (sleet), no precipitation, etc. 

The system automatically collects and preprocesses diverse meteorological data, performs statistical analysis to generate minute-by-minute values, and stores these results in the observation station's memory;

Automatically upload monitoring data(upload frequency: 1 minute)

 RS232, RS485, RJ45 network port or GPRS wireless communication methods.

3.Traffic Weather Monitoring Station and Early Warning System Characteristics

The equipment adopts a modular assembly structure design, which is compact and small. Each sensor is small in size, light in weight and easy to install.

Using photoelectric measurement technology to measure visibility, current weather phenomena and road conditions; 

Non-contact telemetry, without cutting the road surface, especially suitable for the bridge deck noninvasive installation, convenient and easy;

The road condition monitoring instrument is easy to install: it is designed with a red laser pointer to conveniently indicate and locate the measurement area;

Using ultrasonic measurement technology to measure wind speed and direction, it has no moving parts and is completely maintenance-free for long-term measurement, adapting to the harsh environment of highways.

The structural material of each sensor is high-quality hard aluminum, with anodized passivation treatment on the surface and multi-pass painting protection; all screws are corrosion-resistant stainless steel screws; the inside of the shell is sealed, reaching IP65 protection level, and has Adaptability to harsh climates in the wild.

Low power consumption, less than 10W. It can be powered by 220V AC mains power or 12V DC solar power.

The system has lightning protection measures, and its communication interface and power interface have lightning protection designs, which can reduce lightning damage to a minimum.
