1. Product Overview

Tunnel brightness detector is an efficient lighting control system, specially designed to solve the visual adaptation problem caused by the difference in light and darkness inside and outside the tunnel. This "black hole" and "white hole" effect may make drivers feel uncomfortable when entering and exiting tunnels, increasing the risk of traffic accidents. By accurately measuring the brightness of the tunnel entrance and automatically adjusting the internal lighting, this product aims to improve the scientific nature and energy efficiency of tunnel lighting, ensure driving safety, and comply with the requirements of the "Road Tunnel Ventilation and Lighting Design Specifications".

2. Product Functions

1) Continuous online measurement: It can continuously measure the ambient light brightness outside the tunnel and provide real-time data support for tunnel lighting.

2) Multi-interface output: Provides RS-232 or RS-485 digital output interface, and 4-20mA analog output interface to adapt to different system connection needs

3) Intelligent protocol support: built-in ModBus protocol, which facilitates network monitoring and centralized management within the tunnel.

4) Advanced function configuration: It comes with numerical display, fault alarm and data storage functions, which facilitates on-site debugging and later equipment maintenance.

3. Product Features

4. Installation Guide

As shown in the figure below, the tunnel brightness detector should be installed directly on the column outside the tunnel, ensuring a height between 3 and 5 meters, in order to accurately capture the brightness of the tunnel entrance. The sensor probe should be aimed at the center of the tunnel opening to obtain the most accurate light intensity data.
