ASHUR-RWOS traffic weather monitoring station (visibility detector or visibility monitoring station) mainly uses comprehensive acquisition control technology, computer software technology, communication technology and other technologies to integrate a variety of weather sensors from structure to system composition. It can continuously obtain near-ground visibility and current weather phenomenon information along the traffic line, and can conduct real-time detection of multiple meteorological elements of the highway such as visibility and current weather phenomena. It can complete the summary of various data through remote transmission and transmit it to the transportation department in a timely manner, providing Relevant transportation departments provide hand-data on traffic meteorological support services along the routes. Based on this, they can provide timely meteorological information services for highway safety authorities and people traveling.
The detection instrument used in the fog area visibility detector - VD920A visibility detector or VD930A visibility weather phenomenon detector, is also equipped with: dedicated comprehensive meteorological data collector, column support structure, power supply communication control box and other units.
In addition, fog area visibility detectors can also be added at any time according to the actual needs of users: integrated temperature, humidity, wind, pressure and rain weather stations, laser remote sensing road condition detectors, etc., to achieve multi-element meteorological observations.
2. Visibility Detector Function
(1) Ability to monitor visibility and current weather conditions: fog (light fog, fog, thick fog), rain (light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain), snow (light snow, moderate snow, heavy snow), mixed precipitation, no precipitation and other meteorological elements Conduct around-the-clock testing;
(2) Automatically collect data on various meteorological elements, perform preprocessing and algorithm processing on the collected data, perform relevant statistics on the collected data to form minute-by-minute values, and store them in the memory of the observation station;
(3) Automatically upload monitoring data: the upload frequency is 1 minute;
(4) Provide communication methods such as RS232 or RS485, RJ45 network port or 4G wireless.
3. Features of Visibility Detectors
(1) It adopts modular assembly structure design, which is compact and small. The sensor is small in size, light in weight and easy to install.
(2) Use photoelectric measurement technology to measure visibility and current weather phenomena, saving time and effort, and long-term maintenance-free.
(3) The sensor structural material is high-quality hard aluminum, with anodized passivation treatment on the surface and multi-pass painting protection; all screws are corrosion-resistant stainless steel screws; the inside of the casing is sealed and reaches IP65 protection level , with adaptability to harsh weather in the wild.
(4) System power consumption is low, less than 5W. 220V AC mains power or 12VDC solar power supply.
(5) The system has lightning protection measures, and its communication interface and power interface have lightning protection designs, which can reduce lightning damage to a minimum.
